JT Logistics Acquires eCommerce Direct

JT Logistics, an end-to-end supply chain logistics company headquartered in Des Moines, IA, has announced the acquisition of eCommerce Direct (formerly known as Consumer Direct, a division of HP), a Des Moines-based logistics and fulfillment company.

eCommerce Direct's 300,000-square-foot facility in Des Moines, with 54 employees, will continue operating as a division of JT Logistics. The acquisition brings deep expertise in pick-and-pack fulfillment, subscription box services, and high-volume e-commerce order processing - capabilities that complement JT Logistics' existing 3PL warehouse and transportation services.

Strengthening the E-Commerce Offering

The e-commerce fulfillment market continues to grow at an unprecedented pace. Consumers expect fast, accurate, and affordable delivery - and brands need logistics partners who can deliver on those expectations at scale.

By bringing eCommerce Direct into the JT Logistics family, the company can now offer clients:

A Strategic Fit

The acquisition aligns with JT Logistics' strategy of building comprehensive logistics capabilities under one roof. Rather than forcing clients to work with multiple vendors, JT Logistics can now manage the entire supply chain - from inbound freight and bulk storage to individual e-commerce orders shipped directly to consumers.

"The direct-to-consumer acumen of eCommerce Direct is a vertical that JT Logistics is intentionally growing; it absolutely compliments our mission to help our clients serve their customers now and into the future. JT recently opened a 330,000 square feet facility in Reno, Nevada providing similar services. The pick, pack, & ship ability at eCD is second-to-none, and we welcome their talented employees to the JT family of companies." - Jamie Cord, CEO of JT Logistics
